A Single Man

Normally I'm not up on the latest films, but I can't wait to see Tom Ford's movie A Single Man starring Colin Firth (swoon) and Julianne Moore. The dramatic storyline and mid-century styling have me sitting on the edge of my seat desperately wanting more. Omaha World Herald provided a great review online and said the movie, "is a fashion show, an interior design show, a re-created slice of the way we were. This carefully filmed movie visually reads like a moving work of art, and the soundtrack also is outstanding."

Sounds amazing - have you seen it yet?! Happy weekend and movie watching!

what is it about Colin Firth that makes him so appealing? Who knows, but he's got something that's for sure.

I felt like some of the visuals Tom Ford used were a bit too much, but the acting was superb and the sets were fantastic.

I thought it was really beautiful -- that being said, its definitely a heart-wrenching drama -- don't see it unless you're ready for a good cry!

I just read the review you posted here... I'd love to see this. Details are so often overlooked, and in this movie, they seem taken center stage....

Thanks for posting this. I am completely intrigued.
