Megumi Yoshida is the creator and designer behind mgmy studio, a lovely design and ceramic studio based in Brooklyn, NY. The shop carries quirky and smart porcelain pieces like the Librate Vase, a porcelain flower vase that can change it's figure and angle based on the amount of water and length of flowers placed inside. I love the vase's simplistic shape and how it's consistently changing and balancing. When grouped together these vases seem to put on an art show of their own. Besides interesting vases, mgmy studio also creates charming salt and pepper shakers. The hardest part is deciding between the bird pair or retro dining set - maybe I need both?!
