La Farm Bakery

I was in for a real treat this weekend when visiting La Farm Bakery in Cary, N.C. I could smell the sweet aroma of bread outside, and was greeted with a friendly smile and free samples...my kind of place! The owner Lionel Vatinet, who is a master baker, realized his lifelong dream and opened La Farm Bakery in 1998. La Farm Bakery is considered "a modern bakery that continues the centuries-old baking traditions and techniques and honors the ordinary yet extraordinary boulangeries that once flourished in every little town in France." Wow...a great story and incredibly delicious breads and pastries, can we say please sir?!
Fresh apple tart....so decadent looking.

Variety of breads offered at La Farm Bakery.

Chocolate scone and white chocolate mini baguette (all i can say is chocolate + bread = INCREDIBLE).

My weakness....a really, good, authentic croissant. Oh-my-goodness.

We had a little visitor as we ate our wonderful treats on the cafe table outside. A great finish to a wonderful visit at the finest bakery in North Carolina.

La Farm Bakery also offers catering, baking classes, and hosts birthday parties for children and adults. For out of towners visit La Farm Bakery online, where they have an online store with breads, pastries, gift items, granola, and baking utensils. Are you hungry yet??
