Cruel Sea Prints

I'm not a "Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me" kind of gal, but I do love these Cruel Sea Prints available at Little Paper Planes. They are gocco screenprints on a vintage book page - such a neat idea. Once again gocco amazes me. Collect all three lovely designs for $20 each here.

Yup, Gocco amazes me too, and these are splendid. Love the old book pages as the base for these prints!

The book pages are brilliant, even though I'm not big on the seafaring prints I love the idea of using text as a background.

I agree Camille - like I said I'm not a big nautical print lover - but I really like the idea of gocco on book pages.

they remind me of drawings an artistic sailor/pirate might make on the high seas, matey!

I *totally* dig them. The designs look like old sailor tattoos to me. Books & tats? Sign me up . ;-) (I know nautical's not for everyone, but I can get away with at the shorehouse...and I think I'm about to...)

I agree with Camille, the text is a great idea for a background. My grandfather would have loved these. Thanks for sharing!

These are so nice. It makes me want to make a room in my apartment nautical themed just so that I can buy them!

Or I guess I could anyways. :)

I like them. Its like you've been looking through a book and come across someone's little doodles or sketches.

These are SO AWESOME. I'm not a pirate fiend either, but I'm digging the nautical look these days. I love that they're printed on pages from old books. So great.

I like these.. probably the book page look of the background.... and I am in full pirate mode after my little pirate and fairy party.. it was fun!
And those eggs are gorgeous and the wall paper .. I must be really tired because it took me awhile to see actually see the objects!
Happy Weekend!
