Truck

Modern, rustic and comfy pieces all found at Truck Furniture. My favorite is the bookshelf on the second row. The unit displays your books from the front and has a spot for plants. Ahh...love it all.

Oh RANDOM GIRL QUESTION - what's your favorite mascara? I need a good one, and who better to ask than you guys! I think the last one I bought was expired...it had a bad smell...geez I'm horrible in the make-up department - help!

I always get the pink and green one. But I don't wear mascara that much.

(Little tip: wave the wand around so it isn't too wet when going on your eyelashes, prevents clumps.)

love all these piece! especially the stool in the 2nd pic!

mascara - yea if it smells at all, not a good sign! lol

The pink and green is Great Lash. Just make sure you get the kind that ISN"T waterproof - or you will rip your eyelashes out when you try to remove it. And it is a good product, I agree, though I don't wear mascara anymore.

That furniture is fantastic. I agree, the shelf is the best piece.

You should try 'Blinc' mascara.

I've tagged you, and given you an award - check my blog and pass on if you're up for it. (I do know how often these go around so don't feel obliged although I'm sure you have some interesting quirks to share.)

Hey lady! Funny question, and the even more hilarious fact is that I am crazy about my mascara :)
My cosmetologist sibling in law introduced me to the amazing mascara by chanel "imitable". It will change your life!! (not really, but it is good mascara)

Nice rooms. Love them all really. I like the pink and green too. I guess I saw it on What not to wear, and thought I would just stick with it. :)

Maybelline - pink with the green lid.
Good value!
Nars makes a nice mascara too

splurge: lancome defincils. really nice.

Down here in the southern hemisphere... it's Maybelline Great Lash (pink and green) too!! I am 'horribler' than you in the makeup department. Give me something that only takes 5 seconds to apply and I'm happy... nil interest in makeup! A-M xx

After years of using Maybelline Great Lash (the "pink & green" one) I ma now a convert to Loreal Double Extend. It is fantastic, it makes your lashes look really long & thick!

(My favorite piece above is the bookcase/desk combo. gorgeous!)

Oh gosh, I have no idea but it's fuschia... maybe Loreal?

I'm a whatever's-on-sale-kinda-gal when it comes to mascara. :)

Totally cute furniture!

And I am definitely a mascara girl! Maybelline Full 'n' Soft for everyday wear, and L'Oreal Voluminous (with the curved brush) when you need a little extra drama.

My FAVE mascara is Jane Fan Club Curling mascara. It's a little hard to find, but they carry it at the Walgreens by my house. I also like Maybelline Great Lash, that's a classic. :)

I love that bookshelf, too!

I need a really great mascara myself so I'll be following the comments here. I'll give Krissy's suggestion about the Chanel a try. I recently bought a couple different ones to test when my Sephora brand ran out, and they've both turned out to be a complete waste of money. I picked up a tube of Boots at Target and have been pretty happy with how it works. Decisions, decisions!

Love the paper globes in your last post! And mascara, I like Bourjois, the double ended one where you extend your lashes first
: )

yay! another bookmark....I have been loving Almay for blue eyes mascara...I am sure I will try something new within the week. I admit it...I am a cosmetics slut.

i am kind of picky with mascara and wear contact lenses. i recently bought fiberwig from sephora. it is my favorite of all time!

it really lengthens your lashes with no clumps. plus, i never get raccoon eyes even in sad movies ;). and, the best part is that it washes off with soap and water.

oh, i like the furniture, too!

ah! i LOVE mascara!!! i use the darkest mac one. i forget the name of the color. they cost a bit more than regular drugstore stuff, but mac makes awesome makeup.

for regular drugstore stuff, physicians formula makes some good mascara and pencil too.

Great photos! My favorite is LANCOME! That's all I've ever used, anytime I try to go with something else I end up with red eyelids. Can't go wrong with Definicils!

nice furniture.

as for the mascara - go with Meagan's suggestion. That was exactly what I was going to suggest.

Bonbon Oiseau said...

love this furniture! exactly my style only i'd put rocks and twigs and acorns all over the tops so no surface is too bare (it's a problem).

mascara--i'm with krissy and quaint:
chanel "inimitable"---not cheap-totally worth it.
fiber wig: i used this one for the photshoot last week--my assistant turned me on to it--it was gorgeous, went on really nicely--gives you nice full glam girl lashes...

ooh, i use lash blast mascara (cover girl)-- it is AWESOME!! i need to switch over to an organic/eco-friendly mascara, but not until my current tube runs out. it's too wonderful to get rid of early!!

Thanks for the recomendations!

love the pics! as for mascara - great lashes by maybelline (pink & green). it's cheap & the best.

Ok - Are we friends? Well, I know we've never "met, met"...but, trust me here ::

{Supernova Mascara
What it is:
A deluxe thickening mascara.

What it does:
Get the ultimate dramatic lash with this conditioning mascara enriched with panthenol, protective linden extract, and nourishing meadowfoam oil. The rich formula thickens, extends, and delivers an ultra-glossy finish in one coat.}

Haha - too much information? I copied from the site. haha. THAT'S HOW MUCH THIS QUESTION MEANS TO ME. haha. No, but seriously. GREAT STUFF. I'm definitely a Mabelline girl {green and pink} for the majority, but this mascara will change your life. You can apply as many coats as you like...and it's still perfect. You can get it from Sephora. If you look it up online, search : Fresh Mascara. It's the SuperNova. {and yes, it's super}. Oh - and I wear contacts.

Now, to officially make this the longest comment of the day. LOVE the little seat {that the kitter-cat} is on. It would go lovely in my "dream home". :)

GREAT furniture! I love the stool, the TV console, and the book shelf. My favorite mascara, Clinique Naturally Glossy in black. I absolutley will never try anything else again!

evencleveland said...

Oooh ... great find!

Megan said...

oh- Shu Uemura Basic mascara in black, will stay on all day, absolutely no clumps. That stuff is an always-forever product for me.

Ans I agree with the others about Fiberwig, it rules, and I have been pretty suspicious about all of those "building/lengthening" formulas, this one just isn't clumpy.

This furniture is all awesome. I love their web site too.

Mascara - Clinique or Maybelline Volume Express.

love your blog, too!
