Vintage Find Sunday

You've learned the history and have seen the goodies at The Candy Factory, now it's time to get to the vintage finds. The store itself is a find with old hardwood floors, aged wooden shelving, and antique jars filled with candy delights. Great items are found throughout the store like vintage thermos, retro game boards, tin globes, carnival style game wheel, colorful pennants, and my favorite - a blue vintage scale (priced at $400 bucks).

The variety of antiques was impressive for a candy store, and may even give you ideas for your interior spaces. Think framed game boards in a kid's room, a collection of vintage thermos on a kitchen shelf, or a retro carnival inspired room...all done tastefully of course!

OMG I am drooling over your posts from this weekend! Isn't it awesome when "stuff" poses so perfectly for photos?! :-) I just found someone on Etsy who makes pillows out of vintage pennants...I love the look of old pennants and never know what to do with them so I'm pretty psyched to have found her.

Wish I would have given you some money to buy that one globe. I am still trying to find one.

Great finds. Love it.

The red and black check thermos reminds me of the one my dad filled with hot cocoa when we went ice skating. Great memories. (sigh)
