I love this photography series titled Dear Diary by Karolina Karlic, which was featured on The 20x200 Blog. The work is based on the ideas of desire and regret, and inspired by the classifieds section, 'Missed Connections', on Craigslist. In this section people anonymously post recollections of what may have been, or a special moment or connection that was unforuntatly missed.
So, Dear Diary this weekend I will:
1. Finish this Tootsie Roll Pop (got the Indian and star on the wrapper - yay good luck!)
2. Attend the Centerfest on Saturday.
3. Take more photographs.
4. Laugh and learn.
5. Make a better effort.
6. Love and be loved.
Happy weekend everyone...

so i've seen your comments on mutual blog loves and am finally visiting. the indian on the tootsie pop note immediately cracked me up and your rachel yamagata tunes had me hooked. saw her open a few years ago -- dreamy voice. enjoy your wonderful weekend. glad i've found you, i will visit often!
i LOVE 20x200... a coworker of mine introduced me a while ago and since then, i've been addicted.
thanks for sharing these photos!
Laugh and learn is on my list every day! Sounds like you have a lovely weekend ahead of you.
these last two posts? my faves.
{and it really got me thinking. i have no pattern! eek.}
Lovely post! And congrats on getting the lucky Tooties Pop wrapper! (That always thrills me, too!)
I like the idea of this series - very compelling. I hope you have a wonderful weekend - it sounds pretty great.
I love the idea behind this series!
I should have read this on Friday, maybe I would have gotten some of your motivation! I didn't do a whole lot.....hope you accomplished these things :o)
I adore that first image. Makes me feel like its 1982 again.
lovely--and I love your weekend resolutions...(I do that too but usually in the beginning of the month or a new season--your are so sweet though, always about becoming the person you want to be)
Love that you got the Indian and the star. I had always heard you received a prize when you got them on the wrapper, so when I was a kid, I wrote and asked. I got a nice response letter that they basically had no idea what I was talking about.
love those images, what a great idea, thanks for posting them.
oh, me too -- i love her work! hope you enjoyed the weekend! :)
You are loved, darling!
That middle photo is stunning. Love the colors and use of light. Very soothing.
I love these shots. Off to explore more...
Love this idea. Great post.
this is just beautiful, what a great idea.
Such a beautiful idea for a series -- really love the first and second photographs -- there's a wonderful moodiness to them.
