Note to Self

Author of Note to self, Alex Ostrowski, says he created the book because "Every now and then I am struck with a refreshing clarity of head, a lovely moment in which I can see a thought so plainly that it offers me a simpler perspective on things. I try to write them down but usually lose the note - hence this rather large book of tear-out posters! Each one is designed to help me remember something which I usually forget from day-to-day."

Unfortunately the book is sold out, but you can create your own notes to self. The next time you have an amazing idea...write it down...and no, I don't mean on the back of a crumbled receipt that winds up getting washed with your jeans. Been there! Here's to writing down self-motivating thoughts to get you through the day.

These are great...I have tons of post-it notes all over the place with little reminders and bits of inspiration...a collection of posters would be much neater :)

What a wonderful idea. I like to draw happy stick figure notes to my friends and husband all the time, especially when they're feeling bummed. I should start writing positive notes to myself and just wallpaper my cube at work, where I need the encouragement the most!

I did make a happiness diagram note to myself though. I was having a really bad day, and I was super depressed about my job. So I thought I'd make a visual of all the things I love and that make me happy. I'm up to five Post-It notes already and growing (http://reverieblog.blogspot.com

Great idea all around!

Yes. I have my own little note to self book but it's falling apart. I should do a little diy myself.
