Last weekend I went on a little beach trip with my Mom, sister and adorable four year old nephew. On the way home we stopped at The Poor Man's produce stand and a nearby cotton field. As we jumped out of the car for fresh veggies and photo opps my nephew said, "well, where's the rich man?" His reasoning made sense - if this is the poor man's produce, where's the rich man's produce? We all had a good laugh including the owner.
The cotton field was a delight to explore, especially for my nephew. You'll be seeing more of him later. I couldn't resist photographing his cuteness!

Cotton is a big commodity in South Georgia, and on drives to and from Orlando I'll always look out at the fields and marvel how all those specks of white will be morphed into something entirely different.

That is a big momma sweet potato. And I really hope you bought a bag of those peanuts ... the Poor Man needs the dough.
Gorgeous, evocative images.
