This is what I came home to last night. I got out of my car, started walking to my apartment...and there was a wild rooster. WTF?! Now...I may work out in the country but I live in the city in an apartment complex. Yeah...your explanation is as good as mine. Sorry for the crappy photos...roosters apparently don't like getting their picture taken and can run really fast.

I pinky swear it wasn't ours.
funny!!!
you just made my morning!!
Jan - hopefully have no loose roosters roaming around! Glad it made your morning...definitely made my night!
you're lucky he didn't try to stick you up! you know how those city roosters can be ;)?
That is so funny!! Maybe it's a sign you SHOULD live in the country! :)
That's classic! haha......I've got a donkey for a neighbor :o)
So funny!
hahahahahahaha...OMG! This cracks me UP!
HAHAHAH OH MY GOSH!!!
HAHAHAHA! Awesome.
Dinner!
omg this reminds me of the time I was walking down my neighboardhood and I see an old lady chasing this huge PIG,
and i live in a a suburban city,
hahaha!! That is great :)
They do get angry and attack- I have my sister being attacked by a rooster on video!
Haaahaha!
I used to live in Hawaii and there were roosters EVERYWHERE! Krissy is right; they can be aggressive. Beware!
This is too funny! I bet you couldn't believe your eyes. Roosters can be tricky creatures. I wouldn't turn your back on one!
that's hysterical! hopefully he won't return, especially after all the warnings on how crazy roosters can be!
too funny!
Too funny!
That is hilarious! I'm sure this means you will have good luck - a chinese thing:)
did it do any damage in your apartment? eep!
but lols, what a random creature to find at your apartment. in arizona we had coyotes and roadrunners!
Hilarious. I'm glad it didn't attack you.
Yoiks! What a shocker THAT must've been.
haunting you after your taxidermy post... *)
Holy cocka-a-doodle doo, Batman! Thank goodness you are an artful blogger & had the camera ready. This pic made my day. :-)
crazy! i'm a little jealous.
too funny.
i just heard from my co-worker that her mom is at home surrounded by turkeys. i thought that was the funniest thing i ever heard.
:)
maybe there is a foul revolution going on?
That is amazingly awesomely funny!
Hahahaha! I love that first photo. Your "WTF?" arrow - and the fact that it looks like he's waiting at the door for someone to let him in (hey...at least he appears to be wiping his feet, too. :-)
Loving every second of that!!
Weird...I usually see chipmunks running amok, sometimes the random cat, but not roosters. Reminds me of Kauai where they run around wild, which is really funny.
He's practicing for Halloween.
He's looking for the chicken that crossed the road!
OMG!!! That is the funniest thing ever!
That's an exciting end of the day wasn't it? :)
Oh, my gosh, Diana, I can't believe that! How bizarre. I got a good laugh out of it this morning, though! :-)
KFC delivers now?!
ha! in my old neighborhood stray roosters and chickens outnumbered the stray dogs and cats. it's quite odd, but after a while you get used to it.
HAHA!!! Look at those eyes!!
They can also be mean and attack you! My hubby could tell you FUNNY but scary stories about their pet rooster Cornelius. Beware the rooster!
This is unreal!!!
Ha! this is funny. I love it. Maybe she was hoping you'd take her to the country the next morning.
Completely hilarious. Wonder where he ran off to?
Ha! What a cool sight to arrive home to. Way better than a big fat snake on your doorstep! Or maybe there was a snake, but the brave rooster scared him away for you :)
classic ;0
