Liberty Finds

All the goodies at the Liberty Antique Festival were purchase-worthy, but as I mentioned my wallet and apartment couldn't go there. So, I went with something cheaper and smaller. I had bottles on the brain after seeing Aimee Herring's interiors. I already owned one small bottle and purchased five more to add to the collection. The price? Six bucks - can't beat that for old pharmacy bottles. Add water, flowers and sunshine to these bottles and you get a lovely arrangement perfect for a table or window area.

I love bottles too. The glass the charm and the possibilities. Just charming.

Now I'm wondering how beautiful your house would be inside and out.

I used to collect all matter of bottles and use them as anything.. jam jars for candles. They have been very useful during summer months when we bbq a lot outside. :)

A few years ago I sold some bottles just like this at a yard sale when I was trying to declutter my belongings and I still regret it. I love vintage glass and this composition is lovely. Maybe I'll get on ebay and look for some!

That is a lovely display! I can't stay away from the huge displays of bottles at flea markets -- so cheap, but when you group them together like this, they're great.
