Perception

Check out this sculpture series by James Gulliver Hancock that explores altered perception and extension. I love his use of glasses and a hand, or what I interpret as sight and touch. For me, sight and touch are the catalyst to my creation process. Like when you see something inspring and then it becomes part of something you create.

Do you ever feel like these sculptures?

Can't say I've ever envisioned what these sculptures convey when I look and touch ... but I still LOVE them.

I like them both, but my fav is the hand. There is something about a gentle touch. Thanks for sharing! These would be great in a print!
