You know my weakness for lovely interiors with quaint names like Lavender Hill and Limetree Cottage? Well, Adelaide Road tops the list with plenty of cozy fireplaces, delightful nooks and a sweet name of course. The south London property has it all - white floors, a second living room with black stained floors, a kitchen that opens to a garden and a charming attic artist's studio. An artist's studio...a charming one at that! Hello, heaven...yes...I didn't realize you were located in south London...good to know.

I love your interior posts, they always spark some idea in me!
Love that kitchen that runs right into the yard. Beautiful.
So funny - I was looking at these very images last night! Aren't they divine!
Love these shots - it's the books and framed pictures filling the space that make them special to me.

lovely. light and airy, but somehow still cozy.
i like it very much!
i'm so intrigued by that first photo - what are those things? are they drawers or tool boxes?
Deary me! You are so right about the heaven thing! Swoon-o-rama! What I wouldn't give to live there! The person's an interior decorating genius!
When can I move in?

I like how the old and the new come together. I hope you are feeling better.

Oh my! You are right about heaven being in South London. I would love to move into this retreat straight away. What a lovely post!
I love these, too. Cozy and personal yet light.
I love the black stained floors with the picture collage over the mantle. What a great look this place has!
I love these images, especially the bookshelf!! Gorgeous post as usual! :)
This place is perfection! Gorgeous.
just gorgeous. i wonder what that buffet up top was originally used for?
Soooooo dreamy!!! I'm there with you!
Can I transport this kitchen and the fireplace that's under the stairs or the eave, and put them into the Limetree Cottage??? Best of both worlds!!
I have a weakness for cute house names too. And that attic studio is just perfection.
That's it, this isn't fair. why do only cool british houses and seaside cottages get nifty names? I propose that we all name our houses, whether we're living in a grand mansion or a crummy carpeted rental (can you sense my wall-to-wall-carpet rage?).
Henceforth when asked where I live, I am going to reply 'Pemberton Hollows'.
My eyes went right to the garden... ah I can live vicariously through your posts..
Love the open doors in the kitchen. It all looks so cozy and homey.
I love the openness of the home, great inspirational find!
:)
Stop now, me eyes and ears are hurting - it's too much to bear.
ooh, how beautiful! i'm packing my suitcase and buying a plane ticket!
Charm galore! Love it!

Man, I wish we had a fireplace!
What a lovely white and light house - yes, I agree, heaven :)
Oh, I love the chest of drawers in the first photo!
These are gorgeous images and agreed, the names are adorable. xv
I agree with Anne...we should all name our houses. It gives them a sense of personality and importance. Love the floors, love the garden kitchen, and the studio....perfect.
But. But. What is Gallus? Should I know? They look like typeset drawers. But the name. I don't get it.
that drawer stack is amazing
Ooh the fireplaces are just lovely. I have just moved into a lovely big old house with fireplaces. Thanks for giving me some great ideas.
