Aren't these photographs beautiful? Actually...they are PAINTINGS! Wow right? Don't worry...when I found out I also had a jaw dropping, head spinning moment.
The realistic paintings by the talented Alyssa Monks are absolutely incredible. Talk about perfection...every detail is impeccable and every color is perfectly blended. I am amazed and inspired by her artistic abilities. Monks does a wonderful job of portraying the human relationship and interaction to water. When I look at these paintings I can feel that silent moment in the shower or a dive into a cool body of water. Continue to stare and check out more fascinating works here.

you're right, my jaw dropped and my eyes popped. artists like that have always blown me away at their capability for realism. they just see it. completely amazing! what a conversation piece to have one in your home and to be able to stun visitors with the information that it's a painting. :)
