Let's Hear it For the Boys

After seeing pretty fashions and girly interiors a guy reader or onlooking boyfriend may feel a little left out. So, these masculine interiors are for you. Leather, distressed wood, and accents of neutral blue make up these perfect man caves. Plus, they are full of style and definitely don't come across as frat boy-bar-hung a poster while I was drunk. They are even boyfriend approved by Dave (although he thought the red chair and decorative bed was too much). My defense - there are MAN shoes on the cute, dainty chair!

I'd say they are girl approved too. I would be happy to hang up those boxing gloves...maybe even add a punching bag in the corner. And how great is the Toys for Boys book? Don't worry...they have one for girls too!

Wow, definitely girl approved. The darkness though... I would for sure approve it for the den (which my boyfriend demands when we get a house), but probably not for the rest of the house. I need light!!

Love those boxing gloves!

I really like a slightly masculine yet modern interior. I love rich colors and leathers. The first three pictures are a home right up my alley!

My favorite is the fencing mask hung on the wall. Pretty cool.

Ok. For real. These men cannot be real. And if so, where can I find them. They have a better sense of decoration that I do. (Which isn't saying much....)

But thanks for this inspiration. Sometimes we just have to step outside the girly.

Yes I approve of these interiors. When my boyfriend and I finally get married and move in together I would like to have masculine rooms...I don't want it to be flowery and foo foo for him.

I love masculine interriors the most I think. My style definitely leans that way with lots of wool, plaid, wood, darker colors, and leather. Great post!

Love that light over that dining table. I agree, I could do more masculine if it looked like any of these!

I don't think that red chair would be boyfriend-approved in my corner either, but I definitely think red accents work in these interiors. I have some beaten up old red oars that would be right at home!

I like these more than most girly rooms... does that mean I have poor qualifications as a girl?

Yes, these interiors are more blokey but I really like them! They are clean and moder and they make a statement!

I'm a girly girl. But I prefer to live in a slightly masculine space. And I love grays, browns, taupes, whites. Clears my head.

Hi Please Sir, how are you? The grays looks lovely but I have my eye on the table,, I just love wooden long tables = )
