Seems like my interior tastes change every week between glossy, modern spaces to natural, rustic interiors. There are just too many inspiring interiors out there! Luckily, photographer Erik Johnson provides a mix of both styles in the top two photos, and ideas on filling your home with pretty, earthy details.
Maybe soon I can reign in my styles and even tell you about floor plans because I'm taking an interior design class! It's nothing big...just a night class at the local community college. But, I think it will be fun to explore my interior design side. The class starts tonight...ehh I'm excited!

oh yay- you'll have such fun I just know it! great photos :)
Good for you. Enjoy!
I'm of the exact same taste... and it was a happy day when I realized I wasn't wholly schizophrenic when it came to my style! I think the Cote Maison magazines are the best for inspiring this style!!
you took the words right out of my mouth. shiny modern rustic natural...with so many design sources out there i think we all can be a little schizo with what we like. i think a good stylist is the reason for this. making different styles work together is a lot harder than it looks.
I like the wall of hats! Enjoy your new class, sounds like fun!
How exciting about your class! Can't wait to hear more about it ...
You inspire me - you're always trying something new! Have a great time at class tonight.
You definitely have an eye! I think this may be a really good fit for you.

That little row of different colored Eames chairs has me drooling. I'd love that in my place.

I want to move into the top 2 pictures. And fun, what class are you taking?
Gorgeous photos, I'm very much the same...I THINK I'm a modernist kinda girl, but then I keep falling in love with really rustic images of gorgeous French chalets and dilapidated little cottages.
Anyway, the interior design course sounds great, have fun! :D
oh wow - i LOVE that first right interior shot with the antique settee and metal rolling table - such fab juxtaposition of styles!!! that's me in a nutshell right there.
Sorry I haven't been by lately. I see you and I share and indecision about styles. I love so many, such as the glossy modern and then the rustic natural. So many choices that are all gorgeous.
